Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP)
Glucose Monitoring is an integral and valuable part of diabetes management
It provides insight to clinicians so they can take action and achieve better glucose control.
Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) provides a comprehensive view of the patient’s changing glucose levels over time, thus allowing the clinician to see patterns and adjust therapy accordingly.
AGP enables a rapid assessment of glucose stability and variability for the instant recognition by the clinician of patterns that require therapeutic adjustment.
Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CGMS)
A CGM is an FDA-approved device that provides continuous insight into glucose levels throughout the day and night. The device displays information about glucose direction and speed providing users additional information to help with their diabetes management.
Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM)
Ambulatory blood pressure (ABP) monitoring involves measuring blood pressure (BP) at regular intervals (usually every 20–30 minutes) over a 24 hour period while patients undergo normal daily activities, including sleep. The portable monitor is worn on a belt connected to a standard cuff on the upper arm and uses an oscillometric technique to detect systolic, diastolic and mean BP as well as heart rate.
When complete, the device is connected to a computer that prepares a report of the 24 hour, day time, night time, and sleep and awake (if recorded) average systolic and diastolic BP and heart rate.
I port is an advance injection port lets you take your medication without having to puncture your skin for each shot. It’s easy to apply and easy to use. The port can be worn for up to three days and during all normal activities including exercising, sleeping and bathing.
An insulin pump is a small device about the size of a small cell phone that is worn externally and can be discreetly clipped to your belt, slipped into a pocket, or hidden under your clothes. It delivers precise doses of rapid-acting insulin to closely match your body’s needs.
